Main Research Orientation, Advantages or Special Services:

Research on translation of biomarkers for the pathogenesis and early warning of diabetes and related diseases

Integrated services of early warning, prevention and rehabilitation for diabetes and related diseases

(i) Construct a technology platform for remote collection of cohort parameters of major chronic diseases in the population, adopt the Internet + technology, establish a large database of patients with diabetes and related diseases as well as a multi-factor model for early warning, develop an easy-to-use self-assessment APP and software, and provide early warning services for diabetes.

(ii)  Construct a multi-sensory integration training system integrating movement and physiology with situational interaction based on carriers such as smart TV and wearable devices. Provide diverse and personalized medical rehabilitation services to community management users for diabetes easily and quickly through the Internet platform and community.

(iii)  Develop health and wellness products featuring homology of medicine and food in conjunction with modern medicine and traditional Chinese medical theories to provide prevention and treatment for diabetes by targeting the three key causative targets of diabetes: energy metabolism, oxidative stress and inflammatory response.
