Main Research Orientation, Advantages or Special Services:

Mechanism and prevention of Alzheimer's disease (AD) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI)
Application Technology: R&D of anti-aging functional foods and wearable devices.

Integrated services of early warning, prevention and rehabilitation for MCI and AD

(i) Construct technical platforms for remote collection of human physiological, psychological, cognitive and behavioral parameters, employ Internet + technologies, establish a large database of MCI and AD patients and a multi-factor model for early warning, develop user-friendly self-assessment APP and software, and provide early warning services for AD.

(ii)  Construct the scenario interactive multi-sensory integration training system (five movements of brain, hands, legs, eyes and ears) by leveraging carriers such as smart TV and wearable devices, and provide diverse and personalized medical rehabilitation services for elderly users through the Internet platform and community.

(iii)  Develop anti-aging and intelligence supplementation products featuring homology of medicine and food in conjunction with modern medicine and traditional Chinese medical theories to provide prevention and treatment for AD by targeting the three key targets of AD: energy metabolism, oxidative stress and inflammatory response.
