Zhou Yudong, professor and deputy dean of School of Brain Science and Brain Medicine, Zhejiang University, member of Chinese Neuroscience Society. Zhou was graduated from Tufts University in 2003, with the Ph.D. degree in neuroscience; Zhou was a lecturer in the Department of Pathology at Harvard Medical School before returning to China; Zhou has served as a professor and doctoral tutor at Zhejiang University School of Medicine since July 2011. Zhou has published his research results as the first or corresponding author in Science, Nature Medicine, Nature Neuroscience, Nature Communications, Journal of Cell Biology and other famous international journals. Zhou has presided over a number of research projects, such as National Major Research and Development Program, 973 Program, and National Natural Science Foundation of China. Zhou has been committed to the research of the mechanisms of neurodevelopment disorders and metabolic disorders, particularly the development and dysfunction of neuron and synapsis caused by environmental factors, especially immune activation.
