Dear students,

Qingming Festival(also known as Tomb-sweeping Day)falls on April4th,2019.Qingming Festival is a traditional Chinese Festival to sweep tombs and commemorate ancestors.According to the university calendar,we will have three days holiday from April4th(Saturday) to April6th(Monday).On April 6th(Monday) students will not have online classes,but the students of 2016 batch shall attend the online classes according to the class timetable.

To contain COVID-19,the Ministry of Civil Affairs has suspended on-site commemorative activities,opened online platforms for commemoration and encourages people to mourn their ancestors and deceased family members in more civil and eco-friendly ways,such as organizing commemorative activities at home or online as cherishing the health of living people is the best consolation to the deceased.

How to protect yourselves in the global outbreak of COVID-19?Here are some useful suggestions from CGTN’s social platform.

In view of the rapid spread of COVID-19 across the world,China had decided to temporarily suspended the entry into China for foreign nationals holding visas or residence permits still valid to the time of announcement,effective at 12 a.m.,March 28,2020.The suspension is a temporary measure that China is compelled to take in light of outbreak situation and the practices of other countries.The above-mentioned measures will be calibrated in light of the evolving situation and announced accordingly.So please patiently wait for the further notice of returning school.

Now is the critical period of epidemic prevention and control,please understand and follow the measures of epidemic prevention and control continuously,faithfully report your health information,travel history on time,attend the online classes and stay healthy.If the students in Ningbo get fever,please do not move or go to hospital yourself,stay at home and contact Suki soon.
